I can’t believe it’s almost been four years since the release of this game. I haven’t been on this site in a while but I wanted to leave a review for this game because I loved it. When compared to the other “Next Gen” Call of Dutys (MW 2019, Cold War, Vanguard, and MWII 2022) I think MW 2019 was the best overall. Although I admit I haven’t played it in a while.

I play a lot of Ground War and MW 2019 had some classic maps that I think should be remembered. The maps that come to mind are Promenade, Zhorkov Boneyard, Tovarsk District, Karst Rivery Quarry, Krovnik Farmland, and Aniyah Palace. Sniping in these maps was amazing and even if you weren’t sniping they required teamwork and good strategy. I also loved the weapons in this game and that they kept the original names (damn copyrights!). The graphics and mechanics were good like most games today. Lastly I enjoyed the campaign and I didn’t think it was over-the-top like some other CoD campaigns (ahem CoD WWII 😜).

Let’s see if MWIII tops this one in a few weeks.
