Is anyone else getting excited for this game? I have some pretty high expectations, as I always do with Bioware. I am part of the group that actually loved Mass Effect Andromeda. Anthem looks like an amazing game that will be fun to play with a group of friends and the world/setting looks beautiful! I hope it is able to live up to the hype.

I definitely have high expectations! It's supposed to be EA's answer to Destiny, so to speak. I'm excited to see what BioWare has been cooking up since it has been such a long development cycle and quite a bit of money has been pumped into it! I too loved Andromeda, so that just adds to the Pros for me.

I should have pre-ordered it as I would have loved to do the beta this weekend. I got busy with work stuff and completely forgot about it.

I just hope we don't have connection issues this time around...I still strongly believe if we would have been able to connect more easily on Destiny you would have a different opinion of that game!

I would have loved to participate in the beta as well, but I barely have time for the ever-increasing pile of games I have already. :P Ah well, the real deal will be here in less than a month now.

I played a bit yesterday. It seems pretty fun but I still kind of suck at flying, haha! The graphics are sick though!!

I'm saddened to say I missed it due to work and life and such, but I am still very much so looking forward to launch. Which edition did you get, dare I ask?

Edit: EA and Neill Blomkamp (director of District 9, Chappie, the since-scrapped Halo project, etc) have released a very short live action film that takes place decades before the events of Anthem. It really is short, and kinda raises more questions than answers, but it was still pretty neat!

I gotta say, with the reviews I've been reading, there were some early impressions that complained about a lot of things including bugs. But it looks to me like they fixed most of that and it's all running smoothly now. I'm getting pretty hyped!

I have not picked this up yet due to being busy with real life but I still very much plan to do so!
