Bungie just had a decently long livestream today detailing some new changes coming to the Destiny universe. Basically, they can be summed up as the following:

- A new free-to-play version with almost immediate access to Endgame activities is coming, dubbed "Destiny: A New Light"
- Google Stadia, a new game streaming service, will be including Destiny 2 this year
- Cross-save is now a thing. You can work on the same Guardians across Xbox, PlayStation, PC, and Google Stadia. Apparently Sony literally agreed to this last night
- Destiny 2: Shadowkeep was officially unveiled. It's $35 and looks to be about the size of Taken King or Forsaken
- Bungie is going all-in on RPG aspects, whilst retaining the action we've all come to know and love. Expect more build customization

If you'd like to check out the stream, here's a link for ya.

Thoughts? Looks like Bungie getting away from Activision was indeed a great thing.
