Detroit: Become Human
I had no idea what I was getting into as I never played the other two games that Quantic Dream had put out (Heavy Rain and Beyond: Two Souls). From the very first scene I was hooked on this game. The graphics are stunning, probably the best of any single player game that I have played. The character arcs are great as well as you really develop feelings for these people. This game is also decision driven and there are MULTIPLE ways that the story can go. Also, characters can live or they can die depending on what you do. Overall there is..

Fallout 76: Wastelanders
This is a really great FREE expansion for Fallout 76 and basically exactly what it needed! It adds just about everything you could want: NPCs, tons of branching dialogue, a bunch of new quests, lighting system tweaks, new music, new events, new settlements (with their own respective progression systems), new enemies, and more I'm probably forgetting to mention. I'm going to continue to update this review over the next couple weeks, because there's still just so much more to unpack. The only thing I've noticed that keeps this free expansion..

Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved
This little arcade game was originally included in Project Gotham Racing as an easter egg if you went around exploring in your garage. Eventually it became such a popular easter egg that it was made into a standalone downloadable title. Enter: Geometry Wars. It's quite simple in its premise: Asteroids on steroids. It can get very intense and very unforgiving as you start to progress to higher scores. There are several different modes, each adorned with its own beautiful colors and visuals. There are many different types of enemies, but..

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare
The graphics were very detailed and the story was really well written. Definitely one of my top 10 games, the new free add-on "Warzone" is very challenging but it's honestly really fun. I love the way you earn new attachments for each gun by using it more and more it makes you feel more attached to each gun you play with more and more, I'd suggest anyone who enjoys any of the previous COD's to try this game out or just the new add-on if you can't purchase the full game...

MLB The Show 20
As the only realistic MLB game available on the market, SDS continues to put out a solid product. The bread and butter of this game, in my opinion, continues to be the Diamond Dynasty mode. It is comparable to the Ultimate Team modes in the EA Sports titles. If you want to play but are only interested in single player modes, this game is packed. The March to October mode let's you choose whatever team you want and play key moments throughout the season to try and win a World Series. They also have the beloved Road to the Show mode where..

Battlefield 4
As a huge fan of Battlefield Bad Company 1 & 2, and Battlefield 3 (and Battlefield 2142) this was a perfect evolution for me. It was the first Battlefield on the new gen of consoles at the time, Xbox One and PS4. And as usual, DICE came through with a PC version. This extra horsepower of the new gen resulted in something that was very similar to its predecessors, but with a fresh coat of paint. It remained in the theater of modern combat but added quite a bit more of everything. Image Not bad, right? For the record, most of my time..

Star Wars Battlefront II
I bought this game the day it was released. I had very high hopes since the first one was rather.....underwhelming. BF2 added a single player campaign and a revamped multiplayer experience. Had I written this review when it was first released I would have given it a 4/10. The campaign was fun although it was a little short. The loot crate system was horrible and upgrading your classes was a total pain in the ass. Through all of the complaints, EA and DICE did the impossible; they revamped the entire game! They got rid of loot crates and now..

Fallout 76
I started to play video games on my xbox a couple months ago and this is the first game i've tried, and it was hard at the beginning but now i'm obsessed with it, you get to play with real people in an open world and fight really strong creatures, you also get to level up as you go. The lighting is just awesome, crisp graphics, the sounds effects are so realistic you even feel like you are in that world. There are quests you can complete and you get juicy rewards like medicine, armor even guns and bullets which is awesome, you can find useful..

Halo 3
When I first beat this game, I genuinely felt like Bungie closed the story arc and ended the trilogy. This made me sad. They did a good job of doing so, though! Of course, years later, it turns out that this story arc was just getting warmed up. I have mixed feelings about that...this is the last true Master Chief game, as made by Bungie. 343 Studios has done a decent job continuing the series but it just doesn't feel the same. Anyways, this game added quite a lot of things over Halo 2...first off, much refined visuals (on the Xbox 360!..

Fallout 76
This game caught a whole lot of flak when it came out! It had Bethesda's usual buggy gameplay, and it wasn't quite what people thought it would be. I pre-ordered it because I was excited about the prospect of a Fallout game with multiplayer capabilities. It was something I always wanted of Fallout 4 before it, and even Skyrim. After playing it for a bit, I admittedly grew pretty bored of it and set it down after not long. I made it to maybe level 15 or so. It sat there for a decent amount of time... Then I finally got someone to devote..

Call of Duty: Mobile
I've been trying to get into a mobile shooter for some time now to help my breaks go by or just pass idle time. I finally seemed to have landed on this one for the moment. I was a fan of the earlier games in the Call of Duty series, but some time after the Black Ops 2/Modern Warfare 2 era I stopped playing for awhile. This is the first entry in the series to pull me back in. I am playing on a Pixel 3, which is by no means an old phone at the time of this review, but isn't exactly the most powerful phone out there either. I was pleasantly..

Final Fantasy VIII Remastered
I would like to preface this review by saying that Final Fantasy VIII is amongst my favorites in the series. I've always loved the gunblade wielded by Squall and the parts you find scattered throughout the world used for upgrading your characters' weapons. It's similar to VII but different enough to keep it refreshing. At the risk of sounding negative, this remaster however seemed a bit lazy to me. The character models seemed to basically be the only thing that was redone, aside from a few gameplay tweaks like being able to disable random..

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
This game definitely ranks amongst the finest of RPGs out there. It had its fair share of bugs at launch but most of them were patched out. There was certainly nothing that hampered my experience! As far as Elder Scrolls games go, this is the most popular entry in the series. It is a very well done blend of fantasy and RPG aspects and takes into account all that was learned in the previous games. This will have all of the hallmarks of a fantasy RPG that you'd expect: tons of quests and side quests, dialogue, lore, weapon & armor..

Final Fantasy XIV: Shadowbringers
Where to start? This is the 3rd expansion to be released for Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. In my opinion this is the best one to date! Here is why; Story: The expansion obviously continues the Main Story of FF XIV and has us travel to an unknown location. The new environments are simply put, amazing. The colors, enemies, architecture, all brilliant. The other expansions were beautiful but this is the first one where I actually found myself running around to take pictures rather than do quests. Every single zone was breathtaking. And..

Tom Clancy's The Division 2
Having never played The Division (except for the beta), I was a little hesitant to buy D2. Once I picked it up I enjoyed it from the first mission. First off, the graphics are insane! I am playing on a One X with a 4K TV and this is by far the best looking game I have played on console to date. The lighting, attention to detail, and sound is just perfect. As for the game play, it is straight forward and easy to pick up. Even if you are newer to this type of game you will have no issues. My only complaint about this game is it is very..

Mass Effect: Andromeda
As a huge fan of the original Mass Effect trilogy, I was stoked when this was announced! More Mass Effect is, to me, more Mass Effect! Many complained about the facial animations, dialogue/script/story/etc...while I agree that these areas weren't perfect, I couldn't help but feel like the complaints were a bit exaggerated. The gameplay itself was solid and BioWare really tried to improve the mechanics for Andromeda (for example: Biotic Combos!). To be honest, it really pissed me off that all of the negative gamers out there ruined it for..

Battlefield V
I play this game quite a bit! Right off the bat, I will say that it is pretty similar to Battlefield 1. If that game tickled your fancy, then you will most likely love this! I definitely enjoy the visuals, just as I always have with DICE games. The lighting looks great, multiplayer maps have different weather and lighting each time you play them (I love it when games do this), animations look great, etc. The character movement looks and feels very fluid. It feels easy to maneuver. I really have no complaints here and it's a pleasure to..

Tom Clancy's The Division
I definitely came to this series pretty late, about 2.5 years after release, as I was already pretty busy with other games including Destiny. Well, I'm very happy I finally got around to this and gave it a shot. I would essentially compare it very closely to the Destiny series as far as gameplay goes, but in a completely different setting/scenario and with a third person perspective instead. I say this because it is heavily based on exploring, finding loot, and shooting. It does feel quite smooth although the movement can feel a bit..
