I have had a 25 dollar Xbox store gift card burning a hole in my wallet for about a year now (thanks Alex!). With the Black Friday sale on the Xbox store right now, what title should I get? Below are what I had in mind but please feel free to throw out other suggestions! (I don't have a next-gen console yet, I can't find one. So these suggestions are for my Xbox One X).

- Cyberpunk 2077 (29.99)
- Red Dead Redemption 2 - (23.99)
- Marvel's Avengers (15.99)
- The Witcher 3 GOTY Edition (9.99)

I've played Red Dead 2 and Witcher 3, those are both great games. By now, Cyberpunk should be pretty fixed up compared to its state at launch. As for Avengers, I'm not sure how good it is, but I'm sure Marvel fans will love it.

If you want to get caught up on the classics I'd choose Red Dead or Witcher, those will both keep you busy for a long time too! Otherwise, something a little more fresh would be Cyberpunk or Avengers.

Well, thanks to a birthday gift (thanks again you two!) I now have Cyberpunk and I also got The Witcher 3. Now with these two plus Valhalla my single player table is set for the foreseeable future!

Those will keep you busy for a long time! All three of them are great games. They are still doing a lot of work on Cyberpunk (including a major update and expansion next year, along with support for Series X|S and PS5) but it has improved a lot since launch! They are also adding an update with a few little DLCs for Witcher 3 next year that will include support for Series X|S and PS5, which is awesome to see considering the game has already been out so long!

Well, I hope to have a Series X by the end of 2022. We shall see!

If you do end up getting one, I'd highly recommend you check out the Optimized for Series X|S trait to see which games will really take advantage of the new hardware. The titles in that list look great, especially on a 4k TV with 60 fps.

It's frustrating that there are so many Series S on the shelves.

I know, I'm thinking of getting one of those for now, since we are having so much trouble locating a Series X for a non-ridiculous price. I'd prefer if we both had a Series X but it'll have to do for now. Luckily, the Xbox One X is still a pretty capable machine, assuming you have a 4K TV. Just a shame it can't push both 4K and 60 FPS in a lot of titles.
