Google just had their annual Pixel event and I love what I saw! They announced the new Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro, Pixel Watch (finally after all these years, I'm personally interested in the LTE model), Nest Wifi Pro, and new wired Nest Doorbells. I am loving watching their ecosystem grow and evolve, and it seems like they're taking this hardware in particular a lot more seriously. Obviously, the elephant in the room is Stadia being recently canceled, but at this point Google has put out 7 generations of Pixel phones (not including the Nexus devices from back in the day) so I don't get the feeling it will be getting the infamous Google axe.

I already have a Pixel 6 and am still quite happy with it, so I'll most likely be holding off on the Pixel 7, although they are offering an attractive $450 trade in for my P6 versus its retail of $599. Even the Pixel 5 is getting a $400 trade-in value.

Did anyone else see all of this news break today? Any thoughts on the new products, or how the tech landscape has been evolving in general?

Although I do love my IPhone 12 Pro Max I do miss the good old days of android and have thought about switching back to maybe a Samsung or Google but k am too deep in apples ecosystem to make it worth it lol. Google is definitely stepping up their game and getting close to challenging the all mighty Apple. I’m not sure if the trade in is still the same but if it is it may be a nice upgrade because from what I heard they added a handful of new features to the Pixel 7.
