What are you guys' thoughts on Nintendo's Wii U?

Nintendo's E3 was shit compared to their Nintendo Direct (http://www.nintendo.com/nintendo-direct/archive/06-21-2012).

Also, Super Smash Bros. for the Wii U and 3DS is in development (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Super_Smash_Bros._(Wii_U/3DS)). A possibility of adding a Capcom character? Pleeeeease be Mega Man!

I haven't been following it too closely, however I do know that Nintendo has unusually packed it full of horsepower which I'm very excited about. It'll be nice to see a Zelda game that is on par with graphics on other consoles. So far my first choice for my next console (ignoring the fact that I'll be building a gaming rig eventually) is still the next Xbox, not sure if the PS4 or Wii U would be the second.
