So, what's everyone think about this a few months later? Looks like it's not doing so well D: I was really wanting to like this game but to be honest Destiny 2 and Division 2 are basically taking all of my time.

Everything that I have read has made me happy that I didn't pre-order or buy this game. I think it is safe to say that it is a total bust.

I agree. They just barely had their first in-game event called Cataclysm, but it got some pretty mixed reviews from everyone. Just seems like too little too late. I really wanted to like it. :(

Some people are saying they've moved all of their employees over to the new Dragon Age, but some have reported seeing motion capture actors show up to work for Anthem....so while I don't think they've given it the Mass Effect Andromeda treatment just yet, all signs say it's not too far into the future. I just don't get why they throw away years of work like that. I'd be working on some big updates to save it!

You already know that I think they gave up on Andromeda WAY too fast. Mass Effect is my favorite game series so I, of course, was upset when they cancelled all DLC. I love the Dragon Age series as well and I just pray the team learned from Andromeda and Anthem. I love Bioware but they are letting me down recently.

Yeah so hopefully they won't just give up on this right away. I mean, look at Fallout 76. Everybody thought it was a total dud upon launch, and here it is about 7 months later with a pretty active and devoted fanbase. They've been pushing quite a few updates and new content, and doing things like adding NPCs. I hope that BioWare can do the same and continue to support Anthem. If they do, I suspect I will end up catching this on sale a bit later on. For the moment, Division has got me busy!

And yes, Dragon Age will be their saving grace if they can't revive and continue to support Anthem. If they screw up a new DA title after this, things might start looking a bit grim for them.

Bumping an old topic, but I just snagged this on sale for $10! The graphics are quite nice on PC. I am uploading some screenshots now! Too early to tell if I'm gonna like this or not, but it's nice to have something slightly different to play on PC.

Managed to get some flying done!

Facial animations look great!

I gotta say, so far I wish I could run a little faster in Fort Tarsis. That's just about the only negative thing I've encountered "thus" far.

It looks like they have pulled the plug on this game. Aside from the beta, I never got a chance to play this game. It was such a cool concept and it sucks that it didn't work out.

I agree, it does suck. But I think you saved a lot of time! After spending what seemed like not that many hours playing it on PC, I completed it and there wasn't really anything else to do. They did one "event" for the game - Cataclysm. That was it! No DLC or updates or anything. Then the huge remake update they were working on got canceled.

It sucks, but now BioWare can focus on the next Mass Effect and Dragon Age games - they will need to. I don't think they can afford too many more flops.
