Having never played The Division (except for the beta), I was a little hesitant to buy D2. Once I picked it up I enjoyed it from the first mission.

First off, the graphics are insane! I am playing on a One X with a 4K TV and this is by far the best looking game I have played on console to date. The lighting, attention to detail, and sound is just perfect. As for the game play, it is straight forward and easy to pick up. Even if you are newer to this type of game you will have no issues.

My only complaint about this game is it is very redundant. Once you get to a certain point you are just doing the same stuff over and over again. And once you get to the "end game" you are essentially just starting over and replaying the same stuff at a higher difficulty.

The PvP element of the game is Dark Zones. This is actually very fun if you have a squad of your friends to wreak havoc with. I don't really plan to go much deeper in the PvE area, however, I do want to play some more in the Dark Zones.

If you are looking for a new game to play with some friends as a change of pace, this could be for you. Just be warned that it does become super redundant.
