Honestly a really great game that has so much to offer. Although the shooting mechanics and some of the game features are less than amazing, it's characters and story and fantastic. Commander Shepard is one of my favorite characters in video game/movie/TV history and is one of the reasons I fell in love with video games as an adult. Every choice you make in the game can effect your story all the way into the 3rd game. The same goes for the relationships you make with other characters. There are plenty of side bits to enjoy aside from the main story and the music is awesome! Not to mention the bad ass space traveling you get to do.
It's not the best of the trilogy, but it's still well worth the time and effort to finish.
