The Elder Scrolls Online
As a huge fan of Bethesda's games and the Elder Scrolls series in particular, I knew I'd have to eventually get around to this game. I've watched it go on countless sales, enticing players to give it a try, but I never had the opportunity to do so myself as I was already wrapped up with so many other great games. In fact, one of said games was/is another MMO by the name of Final Fantasy XIV. If you like either of these games, you will like the other. Well, here we are, 8 years after release and I've finally gotten through the base game..

Halo Infinite
I sadly realized this truth right away, but after spending another 25+ hours playing the game, I have to say that yet again it is an inauthentic entry in the Halo series. I must say that I have only played the free-to-play multiplayer so far, and have not purchased the Campaign. I don't want to spend $60 on another lackluster storyline. When it goes on sale I'd like to try it out, but still to this day, almost a year after release, there is no campaign co-op which is wild for a Halo game. For those who have been worried about trying..

Assassin's Creed Odyssey
After spending a lot of time with Origins, and now a lot of time with Odyssey, I can definitely say that they are both worth the playthrough! It's not exactly the classic Assassin's Creed experience, but I'm fine with that. In my opinion it was time for them to do some kind of twist with the series, especially with the rate at which they were pumping these games out for awhile there. A lot of the gameplay and visuals in this game are similar to Origins, (with the visuals obviously being adapted for the Greek environment, rather than..

MLB The Show 22
The Show is a great game every year. Since 2019 I have played exclusively on the Diamond Dynasty mode, so this review is tailored towards that (as opposed to RTTS, Franchise, etc). The graphics are amazing once again. The current gen versions are stunning. My gripe with the game comes with hitting, I am not sure what SDS has done with the settings but hitting is a nightmare right now. I don't really know what else to say in this review but if you are looking for a sports game to play this is probably the top one out there in terms of..

Kingdom Come: Deliverance
By far one of the best open world games i have ever played. Unlike other games that offer a world of open exploration and loot from the get go, KCD focus' on a more harsh start, which, seeing as you're a poor blacksmiths son, makes sense. Don't expect to out duel someone or steal something too easily, and good luck picking up a book and trying to read! Whilst KCD's gruelling progression of skills can feel difficult at first, it makes it extremely rewarding when you achieve higher skills and abilities eventually noticing the world..

Visage
Well well well.. Visage.. where to begin? Would it be the frightening similarity to silent hills' ''P.T'' (that was discontinued after the demo) having to deal with a constant looming threat? The anxiety of being chased through hallways like in outlast? The most subtle hints and illusive puzzle method that starts you with very little to go off and feeling like you're going insane? Don't get me wrong, I'm not hating on the game at all, or saying its a rip off. It definitely took some of the best concepts from other horror games, but..

Hell Let Loose
This game is a lot more tactical than your typical first person shooter. You have a commander on your team who will delegate tasks to the squad leaders, who then tell their squad members (2-6 people depending on your squad's role/job) what to do. It's similar to another game that I reviewed called Rising Storm 2: Vietnam. You cannot simply go sprinting into battle after your respawn. In this game, it only takes one or two bullets to take someone down. If you get hit, you need to lay prone or behind cover and bandage yourself which takes..

Fallout 76: Wastelanders
FO76 was my first console game I ever owned and oh boy, I am so happy I gave it a second chance. The game takes place in an alternate reality on the aftermath of a nuclear war between China and The United States, therefore many mutants, scorched creatures, radiation is surrounding you, you can’t escape from the gangsters either, bad eagles killing good bots and remaining good humans. Very easy to learn, kinda big map in my opinion, I wish they would expand it a bit more but let’s hope they plan on it in the future. There’s so many..

Retrograde Arena
This was a very pleasant (free) surprise! This is a retro arcade styled twin stick shooter. It's heavily based on physics though; rather than killing your opponents by shooting them, you must use the force of your shots to push your enemies into certain "kill barriers." The location of said barriers varies by map. There are several powerups spread throughout the maps that temporarily change/upgrade your weapon as well. It's a lot of fun and can be quite adrenaline filled. I was surprised how "into it" I was getting..

Assassin's Creed
When this game came out, I remember myself and many of my friends being so excited since we were finally getting some completely new IP. At that time in 2007 endless sequels, remakes, and remasters were already starting to become a thing - which, ironically, the Assassin's Creed series would also go on to do. The gameplay is a little bit pared down compared to Assassin's Creed II, III, or Black Flag. Definitely a lot different compared to Origins, Odyssey, or Valhalla. This is more of a third person action adventure stealth 3D platformer..

Diablo Immortal
I've barely just started playing this, but after 10-ish hours I can already say this game offers a much higher production quality than most other mobile games that are out there. That alone makes it a joy to play with. When the game was announced, a lot of people complained quite a bit about how it was mobile only. I am not sure when the decision was made to develop for PC as well. As of the time of this review, the PC version was in a "public preview" kind of thing. It is the classic Diablo gameplay you remember from the..

Battlefield 3
This game started out a little rough at release (like a lot of DICE games), but I thoroughly enjoyed it. I had a few friends who played a lot as well (several of which are on this very site) which definitely increased the fun factor. It felt like an upgraded and further refined version of Bad Company 2. This is a good thing, as BC2 was already a great FPS. The graphics were great for the Xbox 360 when they came out, but they really shine (even to this day, in my opinion) on PC with the settings turned up. It's a pretty big difference..

Destiny 2: The Witch Queen
I was interested in this expansion basically from the beginning since I knew it was supposed to be a bigger one, comparable to Forsaken or Taken King. It does indeed add a lot of new stuff, namely the Throne World destination. So far after sinking somewhere around 50 hours into it and nearly 100%ing the first season of this expansion, I can truthfully say that I dig it! This expansion was supposed to release in 2021 before being delayed until February of 2022, which according to Bungie was due to the pandemic and challenges of remote..

League of Kingdoms
This is one of those typical "build up your kingdom and attack monsters and other kingdoms" games. The game utilizes 2D graphics with a lot of .gifs for the animations. The art itself is somewhat pleasant enough to look at, but won't drop any jaws. The background music and sound effects were pretty annoying to me personally, but luckily there was an option to turn it all off (I did). The main differentiator of this game is the ability to connect a crypto wallet. You can then monetize land, "crystals" (a rare currency..

Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker
This is the 4th expansion to be released for Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. This expansion concluded the story ark that began in A Realm Reborn. I think it did it perfectly and I really enjoyed it. Story: As mentioned, this expansion concluded the story arc that began with A Realm Reborn. I feel completely happy with how they ended it (the game will keep going, just the original story arc has concluded). The new added locations were not as good as Shadowbringers, in my opinion, but they were still enjoyable and fun to explore...

Battlefield Hardline
This game was a bit different compared to older Battlefield titles like Battlefield 3 and 4. Firstly, it was mostly developed by Visceral Games rather than DICE. They still used the Frostbite engine which definitely made it mostly look and play the same. However, this time around the game is much more fast-paced and you have less health in multiplayer, meaning you will die much more quickly. Of course this means it is also easier to kill your enemies, if you're quick. It really all comes down to who saw who first, and who reacts first most of..

Outer Wilds
As I await the much anticipated 'ELDEN RING', I have heard many fellow gamers recommend a small space-exploration game that could scratch my itch in the mean time... What I actually received from this experience was bigger than I could have imagined, and they hype was absolutely true. After completing 'Outer Wilds', I can honestly say it has become one of the coolest gaming experiences I've ever had. If you have any inkling of exploring space or how mysterious the solar system can be, then you need to do yourself (and your future self)..
