Star Wars Battlefront II
I bought this game the day it was released. I had very high hopes since the first one was rather.....underwhelming. BF2 added a single player campaign and a revamped multiplayer experience. Had I written this review when it was first released I would have given it a 4/10. The campaign was fun although it was a little short. The loot crate system was horrible and upgrading your classes was a total pain in the ass. Through all of the complaints, EA and DICE did the impossible; they revamped the entire game! They got rid of loot crates and now..

Fallout 76
I started to play video games on my xbox a couple months ago and this is the first game i've tried, and it was hard at the beginning but now i'm obsessed with it, you get to play with real people in an open world and fight really strong creatures, you also get to level up as you go. The lighting is just awesome, crisp graphics, the sounds effects are so realistic you even feel like you are in that world. There are quests you can complete and you get juicy rewards like medicine, armor even guns and bullets which is awesome, you can find useful..

Halo 3
When I first beat this game, I genuinely felt like Bungie closed the story arc and ended the trilogy. This made me sad. They did a good job of doing so, though! Of course, years later, it turns out that this story arc was just getting warmed up. I have mixed feelings about that...this is the last true Master Chief game, as made by Bungie. 343 Studios has done a decent job continuing the series but it just doesn't feel the same. Anyways, this game added quite a lot of things over Halo 2...first off, much refined visuals (on the Xbox 360!..

Fallout 76
This game caught a whole lot of flak when it came out! It had Bethesda's usual buggy gameplay, and it wasn't quite what people thought it would be. I pre-ordered it because I was excited about the prospect of a Fallout game with multiplayer capabilities. It was something I always wanted of Fallout 4 before it, and even Skyrim. After playing it for a bit, I admittedly grew pretty bored of it and set it down after not long. I made it to maybe level 15 or so. It sat there for a decent amount of time... Then I finally got someone to devote..

Call of Duty: Mobile
I've been trying to get into a mobile shooter for some time now to help my breaks go by or just pass idle time. I finally seemed to have landed on this one for the moment. I was a fan of the earlier games in the Call of Duty series, but some time after the Black Ops 2/Modern Warfare 2 era I stopped playing for awhile. This is the first entry in the series to pull me back in. I am playing on a Pixel 3, which is by no means an old phone at the time of this review, but isn't exactly the most powerful phone out there either. I was pleasantly..

Final Fantasy VIII Remastered
I would like to preface this review by saying that Final Fantasy VIII is amongst my favorites in the series. I've always loved the gunblade wielded by Squall and the parts you find scattered throughout the world used for upgrading your characters' weapons. It's similar to VII but different enough to keep it refreshing. At the risk of sounding negative, this remaster however seemed a bit lazy to me. The character models seemed to basically be the only thing that was redone, aside from a few gameplay tweaks like being able to disable random..

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
This game definitely ranks amongst the finest of RPGs out there. It had its fair share of bugs at launch but most of them were patched out. There was certainly nothing that hampered my experience! As far as Elder Scrolls games go, this is the most popular entry in the series. It is a very well done blend of fantasy and RPG aspects and takes into account all that was learned in the previous games. This will have all of the hallmarks of a fantasy RPG that you'd expect: tons of quests and side quests, dialogue, lore, weapon & armor..

Final Fantasy XIV: Shadowbringers
Where to start? This is the 3rd expansion to be released for Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. In my opinion this is the best one to date! Here is why; Story: The expansion obviously continues the Main Story of FF XIV and has us travel to an unknown location. The new environments are simply put, amazing. The colors, enemies, architecture, all brilliant. The other expansions were beautiful but this is the first one where I actually found myself running around to take pictures rather than do quests. Every single zone was breathtaking. And..

Tom Clancy's The Division 2
Having never played The Division (except for the beta), I was a little hesitant to buy D2. Once I picked it up I enjoyed it from the first mission. First off, the graphics are insane! I am playing on a One X with a 4K TV and this is by far the best looking game I have played on console to date. The lighting, attention to detail, and sound is just perfect. As for the game play, it is straight forward and easy to pick up. Even if you are newer to this type of game you will have no issues. My only complaint about this game is it is very..

Mass Effect: Andromeda
As a huge fan of the original Mass Effect trilogy, I was stoked when this was announced! More Mass Effect is, to me, more Mass Effect! Many complained about the facial animations, dialogue, script, story, etc...I couldn't help but feel like all of these people were just complaining about stupid stuff. The gameplay itself was solid and BioWare really tried to improve the mechanics for Andromeda (for example: Biotic Combos!). To be honest, it really pissed me off that all of the negative gamers out there ruined it for those that enjoyed this..

Battlefield V
I play this game quite a bit! Right off the bat, I will say that it is pretty similar to Battlefield 1. If that game tickled your fancy, then you will most likely love this! I definitely enjoy the visuals, just as I always have with DICE games. The lighting looks great, multiplayer maps have different weather and lighting each time you play them (I love it when games do this), animations look great, etc. The character movement looks and feels very fluid. It feels easy to maneuver. I really have no complaints here and it's a pleasure to..

Tom Clancy's The Division
I definitely came to this series pretty late, about 2.5 years after release, as I was already pretty busy with other games including Destiny. Well, I'm very happy I finally got around to this and gave it a shot. I would essentially compare it very closely to the Destiny series as far as gameplay goes, but in a completely different setting/scenario and with a third person perspective instead. I say this because it is heavily based on exploring, finding loot, and shooting. It does feel quite smooth although the movement can feel a bit..

MLB The Show 19
As far as sports games go The Show is the top of the pyramid. San Diego Studios has consistently produced a solid product that brings an amazing baseball experience to the fans. If you enjoy playing offline they have a very deep Franchise mode as well as their famous Road to the Show mode. They also have a new mode called March to October, this seems very cool! If you like online play they have Diamond Dynasty. This is their version of other modes such as EA's MUT, HUT, FUT, etc. Diamond Dynasty is pretty competitive but super addicting. All..

Injustice: Gods Among Us
Really great game combines all of the Justice league and gives them a bad side, because the game play takes place in a alternate universe were the main villain is superman and the hero is joker. but dose give a really good back story as to all super hero games combines a story line game to a mortal combat type game in simple terms, the downloads and upgrades are pretty nice, as well as the many different stories you can unlock by playing each super hero or villain. over all the only better game then this is part 2..

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare
Game is a really great , i like all of the COD games, but this one has to be the most future based one, some times you get tiered of playing gun games but this one goes out of the box and scores great points, in most post its given a 6-10 which most people would say is not great but for a game that has many shoes to fill it did great, some people say it doesn't apply to real world, but lets be honest its a game and nobody buys a game because it relates to real life we want it as an escape as a different experience then what we get day to day..

Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn
Final Fantasy XIV (also known as 1.0) was a terrible game. It was so bad that the producer was fired and the game was shut down indefinitely. Once a new producer was brought on the game was rebuilt from the ground up. After the complete re-working they re-released it; enter Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn (also known as 2.0). ARR is a beautiful and amazing game. It picks up where 1.0 left off (unless you played it from the start, 1.0 will never be able to be played again). The opening cut-scene catches you up for the most part. The..

Command & Conquer: Rivals
A pretty simple rendition of the C&C universe. This would be great to play on your 10 or 15 minute break, or perhaps during a commute of some sort. It does what it was intended to do well. If you're looking for a hardcore PvP RTS experience, this isn't what you're going to find. It is definitely much more of a casual experience. But I have definitely had my fair share of edge-of-the-seat action battling against other players (which is what you'll exclusively do after completing the PvE tutorial levels). You start off as GDI only,..

The Orange Box
I don't often buy compilations (no particular reason) but this one is definitely an incredible value, especially if you haven't played any Valve games (like myself at the time) before. Valve has their own style with their games and it was a very enjoyable experience to go through and play all of these. Half-Life 2, HL2 Episode 1, and HL2 Episode 2 are included in The Orange Box. This will definitely keep you busy for awhile. This particular FPS has many physics-based puzzles scattered throughout its sci-fi atmosphere. It's a dark, dystopian..
