Where to Buy and Download Games

We don't sell any games at byte1ife, but we do know a few good retailers where you can find some.

PC, Mac, and Linux

For PC games, most people just download them directly after purchasing digitally. This can be done through several online stores - there are many to choose from, with the most notable examples below.

If you do not wish to purchase digitally, you can search for physical copies online or visit your local retailers. PC/Mac games are generally not quite as available in-person as console games.

Xbox One, Xbox One S, Xbox One X, and Xbox Series X|S

You can go to the Microsoft Store. It can be found on your Xbox's homescreen, or if you prefer you can go to Xbox.com and purchase from there instead. You can also click the link above.

You will want to be signed into the same Microsoft account as the one you use for Xbox Live on your console.

PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5

You can go to the PlayStation Store. It can be found on your PlayStation's homescreen. You can also visit the PlayStation Store on your phone or computer.

You will want to be signed into the same PlayStation account as the one you use for the PlayStation Network on your console.

Nintendo Switch

You can go to the Nintendo Store. It can be found on your Switch's homescreen. You can also visit the My Nintendo Store (US only) on your phone or computer.

You will want to be signed into the same Nintendo account as the one you use on your Nintendo Switch.

Android

You can visit the Google Play Store to download games (and apps) for your Android device. An official app should have been pre-loaded on your device. Some games may require a newer version of Android.

iOS and iPadOS

You can visit the Apple App Store to download games (and apps) for your iOS or iPadOS device. An official app should have been pre-loaded on your device. Some games may require a newer version of iOS or iPadOS.
